Last week Merv and I were privileged to have a real treat when we attended the Meet the Maker event at Holmsglen in Eildon. Not only does the venue provide great conference room or special event facilities and the food is fantastic it also does accommodation. Providing a variety of accommodation options and numerous outdoor activities this facility has it all. Who could resist waking up to views like this in the morning - it was a brilliant way to start the day.
Meet the Maker event in Murrindindi saw a show casing of some of the regions fine food and wine. The evening held at Holmsglen in Eildon was a chance for local producers to highlight their products. Mitch from Buxton Trout Farm and Salmon Farm provided some wonderful insights how he and his family had adapted the business over the years to meet changes in demand and clientele. Overall a wonderful evening and not to mention some great wine and food.
