Workspace Australia - Wins Australia's Incubator of the Year Award

Workspace Australia has just been announced as the winner of Business Innovation & Incubation Australia's prestigious 2010 Business Incubator of the Year Award. The award is to acknowledge excellence in the performance of business incubators in Australia. Board member John Stewart and CEO Rebecca Dempsey were on hand to receive the award at the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceromony at the National Small Business Development Conference held in Cairns between the 12th - 15th September 2010. 

Rebecca Dempsey said, "Winning the Award is testament to the great work and innovative ideas Workspace provides in Central Victoria. Workspace Australia is a regional network of business incubators in Victoria that began operations in 1998. With almost 8,000m2 of lettable space spread over seven centres, with office, wokshop and mixed facilities. Workspace incubates around 100 small businesses, with an impressive sucess rate. Many of Workspaces's clients have gone on to win awards and other accolades and create wealth and jobs for their regional local communities."
