Martin John Lee - Castlemaine

Martin’s practice is multidisciplinary, ranging from installation assemblages to video works, and varying combinations in between. The conceptual basis for much of his work lies in the examination of the contemporary dynamics and intersections of masculinity, cultural norms and societal expectations.

Martin has a Master of Contemporary Art from Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne, a Graduate Certificate in Visual Art, Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Art (Ceramic Design), Monash University, Melbourne

He is also the winner of a Majlis Encouragement Award, Victorian College of the Arts Graduation Show and a Melbourne Global Scholars Award, University of Melbourne.
