Week 2 of our series of using Social Media in Job Hunting looks at how to use twitter.

It is sometimes advantageous to have a twitter account as often job vacancies information is circulated via tweeting. It is not necessary to tweet yourself you can just re-tweet things you see of interest or just follow companies, brands and issues.

You can use your own tweets to show your interest in a particular career: tweet about current affairs in the sector you wish to work in. Your Twitter bio should include your degree and some relevant skills.
