Castlemaine Children's Festival

Rebecca Keys from Vespertine recently lent her hand to the Castlemaine Children's festival running fun workshops during the school holidays.

The Let's Make a Book! workshops were run from Rebecca's studio at Workspace Castlemaine enabling youngsters to design and make their own books using basic printmaking and traditional bookbinding techniques.

The two workshops, one for 3-4 year olds and the other for 5-7 year olds allow participants to learn the basics of design, colour and structure and even have a go at traditional marbling.
